
In this article, the educators near Chicago are using the Touch to educate elementary students.
Well, I'm also wondering what we could use them for in secondary schools. I'm pretty sire that students, my regular students, would not need them to listen to their own reading of a passage. But they could use my notes from a Powerpoint presentation.
Not sure if my regular students would use the Dragon Dictation, but the could use it to take down the due dates for assignments. For finding the definition of words. For doing some research into a particular character. For the text of a book, instead of having to schlep the actual book to class. They could watch iTunes U videos, watch ripped movies (although that would be a bad thing, as copyright would be an issue) or free Creative Commons video. Or ccMixter Mp3 files....
I guess I did some thinking on e-paper today....;)
